Vault the Michaelmas de Saint-Philibert
At
the top of the narthex the vault Saint Michel is located, which also
comprises three vessels of three spans. The central vessel is arched in
curved cradle, supported by squat round piles.
The first spans of
collateral support the turns. They communicate with the central part by
a geminated bay. The two Eastern spans of collateral are arched in
rather low half-cradles. All the vessels profit from a direct lighting.
The vault dominates the collateral ones of the nave, which one can see by curved bays. It is also located above the organ, which one can observe the mechanisms.
