Dolmen mushroom

During a voyage, here is a curious mushroom. Normal, we are in the Dordogne! It should not be awaked… It is quite quiet, far from the agitation of the world and the men… Celà gives me desire for making you a gift: a history drawn from a work of Mr Maurice guingand: Song of stars In this night there, time did not exist any more. No wind, not of noise. Only the growing clearness of the dawn made the rocks of surrounding darker. In a circular valley, bathed orange light, an open crater whose ... [Lire la suite]

Dolmen of the stone of the fairies

Dolmen of Pineyre

It is distant only 500 meters of the menhir of Freydefond. Its name points out glazing bar of pines which surrounds it. It is enchassé in a tumulus of about fifteen meters in diameter, and only part of the enormous flagstone of cover emerges whose weight is higher than 25 tons. It is a basalt plate, torn off with a lava flow, which slipped on the supports which are 4, and does not rest any more but on two of them.
