The abbey of Fontenay
The
church is high in a very short time: between 1127 and 1150.C' is one of
the oldest churches cistercians of France. With the Middle Ages, it is
preceded by a porch over all its width, which occurred with the lower
part of the four lower windows of the frontage.
With the top of the door, seven windows (a symbolic system number) diffuse the light with the setting one.
The cloitre is one of most beautiful of France in my opinion, and it is where the young Andree Putmann passed her childhood. Like what, when the beautiful one surrounds you…
