the first reception is made by the oak of Heraklès, the named good, so much it appears strong in the middle of a corn field. With its feet, a stone punt, posed there in which goal…. first guard of the places.
Second sentinel, with two steps of Heraklès, the oak of Merlin. It
was baptized thus for a very long time, the legends of duides being
still present in this place.
La Sainte-Baume
Before
receiving the name of Sainte-Baume, the solid mass was known like
Gargare. Garganos, hero Celtic jovial fellow which Rabelais took as a
starting point freely, lent his name to many tops of our regions, of
Normandy in Italy of the South. In addition to its relictuelle
richness, a solid mass as prestigious as this one could not leave the
indifferent Church there too. Its emissary cut 150 steps in the coasts
of the Garganos giant, consequently condemning very tentative occasion
of perpetuation of pagan rites.
Sources
In
particular water is abundant in the solid mass and the cave. It should
be understood that it is it which determines the vibratory quality of a
crowned place. In the Genesis, in fact the things of the second day of
creation appear: water of in top and water of in bottom. Water, it is
the memory of the world. It is the principle even of the life. Water it
is the element which connects: it connects our cells between them, it
connects the man with cosmos.
The holy place, generally, is a place
or the man can pass from his terrestrial condition in the world of the
light. Water intervenes in this process of exchange; it is used since
always in the construction of the sanctuaries because it carries
information essential to a crowned place. It is precisely the meeting,
in a precise place, of one or more water currents with networks, known
as geomagnetic or geobiologic, which can appear, with the assistance of
the man, the direction crowned in all its force. (Arcadia review).

and holy Sidoïne.
The cave
Nowadays
one reaches the “rock of penitence” by a staircase integrated in the
architectural whole of the high altar carried out in 1867. It is on
this rock that the legend establishes the place of the layer of
Marie-madeleine.
The interior of the cave, very wet… the breath
forms small clouds of smoke, which rise towards the vault of the
rammer, just located at the top, where Marie-madeleine was made raise
seven times per day by the angels.
I felt the presence of another
cave, located just in lower part this time. But the excavations are not
with the style of the day.
The Dominican father, guard of the
sanctuary, with which I discussed a little, said to me not without
humour that the pauvrette was to have nauseas to thus do as many ways
in the airs…
This time, that points out Saint Michel to me d' Aiguilhe, in Puy, where I had to make with the same elevator…
The reliquary
The reliquary contains a fragment of tibia and a wick of hair.
These
relics were the subject of an anthropological study in 1974 with
cranium located at Maximin saint and the bones of the church of the
Madeleine with bets.
Conclusion: the bones belong to a woman of small stature, of Mediterranean type gracile, old of about fifty years.
On its low part, the crossing of the Mediterranean is illustrated. Marie-madeleine is held upright with the center of the boat leading it to Marseilles, in position of orante. The boat, in accordance with certain versions of the legend, is guided by two angels. Several travelling companions of Madeleine are illustrated. A detail holds the attention: in front of the boat bringing back Marie-madeleine to Provence, a body surrounded by strips rests….
The forest
This
forest-relic, remarkably protected, and this mountain of the Sainte-Baume can be counted among the greatest crowned places of France.
The forest is described as pubescent oak grove….Me I say that it is a magic forest!
