The lime of the Churns in Mazirat
It
is a majestic lime located at the crossroads of the Churns. It is not
very old, since it is dated from the XIXème century, but its will have
is large. Not far from him, the stones with cups of Martin Saint.
Freydefond, in Mazirat
Freydefont,
in toponymy auvergnate, would like to say “fraiche source”. It is true
that water is fraiche there, and that our friends batrachians are not
mistaken there.
But
there, we have to make in Freydefond, and Freyda is not far. Water
flows dry stone well in an old laundrette, which, if I believe about it
my felt, does not go back to today. It seems to to me that the places
are kept, and that a door accomodates us.
The Saint Martin's day stones
Martin, according to the legend, would have created this cup while
sitting down there. And where is Saint Martin… are megaliths.
Quite practical when those disappeared to know their establishment.
There, the stones are in the middle of a small thicket surrounded by a
field of pasture.
