The church Saint Nicolas's Day in Murat

Murat the rich person has been a stronghold considered for more than thousand years. Bordered by two rivers, Aumance and Murat, this historical borough proudly shows the vestiges of its castle of XIème century, old Roman strengthened station, then field of the Bourbons.

The Saint Nicolas's Day church was built in XIème and XIIème centuries out of red sandstone. The bell-tower was added to the XVIIIème century.
