The vault of Vauclair

Vassivière

Vasivière would come from '' go iver " (the temple of water); the site is an old Celtic place honouring the divinities with water of Couze, Clamouze and the lake Pavin. Notre-Dame naturally took the succession of these divinities, like source of life...

Brionnet

On the road leading of Besse to Ronzières, the village of Brionnet. Nothing important good, if it is not a vault posed on a dyke, that one sees by far. It dominates all the area, and makes me much think of Saint Michel d' Aiguilhe. There too, one needed...

Valfleury, the black virgin

There was an old vault dedicated to the virgin where ran an healer source. Notre Dame de Valfleury was found, the Christmas day before, a little before year 800. A shepherd saw a broom in flowers. While having drawn aside the branches, it found the statue....
